Privacy policy
In short: this website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads nothing from third-party servers – not even fonts. The only processing is what any web server technically needs in order to deliver a page, plus your email address if you write to me. That is why there is no cookie banner.
1. Controller

2. Visiting the site (server logs)
When you open a page, your browser necessarily transmits your IP address, the date and time, the address requested, the page you came from (referrer), your browser type and operating system. These data are processed in the hosting provider's logs in order to deliver the page, secure operation and detect faults. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). The logs are deleted automatically by the hosting provider after a short period, are not combined with other data and are not analysed by me.
Hosting: Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. KG, Königsberger Straße 4–6, 32339 Espelkamp, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Mittwald.
3. No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. No user profiles are created, no visitor statistics are collected and no ad networks are embedded.
4. Local storage
When you move the “How high may your pulse go?” slider, your browser remembers that level (a number from 1 to 5) in its local storage so it still applies on the next page. This is not a cookie, the value never leaves your device and it contains nothing about you. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
5. No third-party content
Fonts, stylesheets, scripts and images are served exclusively from this site's own server. There are no Google Fonts, no maps, no social networks, no booking widgets and no advertising networks. Your IP address is therefore not transmitted to anyone other than the hosting provider.
6. Links to GetYourGuide
The booking links lead to GetYourGuide (GetYourGuide Deutschland GmbH, Sonnenburger Straße 73, 10437 Berlin, Germany). Only when you click such a link do you leave this website, and GetYourGuide's privacy rules then apply. The link carries a partner identifier by which GetYourGuide recognises that you came from here; what they process – in particular cookies used to attribute a booking – is set out in GetYourGuide's privacy policy. No such processing takes place on this website.
7. Contact by email
If you write to me, I process your details in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once the matter is settled, unless statutory retention periods apply.
8. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Please use the address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, datenschutz-berlin.de.
9. Transfers to third countries
The pages are delivered from servers in Germany. Because no tracking, advertising networks or third-party content are embedded, no transfer of your data to third countries takes place on this website. If you follow a booking link, the provider's own rules apply from that point on.
10. Security
The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
11. Changes
This policy applies from 22 September 2026. If the website changes – for instance through visitor statistics, a contact form or embedded booking widgets – it will be updated beforehand.
